    Miami University priorities offering experiential learning opportunities; for my senior capstone project a team of Miami students and I partnered with Stanley Black and Decker's Vendor Relationship team to optimize their strategic sourcing model. Using Microsoft Power BI we were able to do category analysis on Stanley Black and Decker's (SBD) vendor list. Our research identified vendor right for acquisition to strengthen their strategic sourcing model.

  • Miami University Brewing Industry Field Study

    A capstone-level, experiential, study-away program geared specifically for Supply Chain students. This class allowed me to understand contemporary supply chain and operations management challenges in the brewery industry. The program visits over 40 breweries, hop farms, yeast labs, packaging and equipment manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and industry groups on a cross-country tour of industry hot spots in Ohio, Colorado, and North Carolina.

    Inside Washington is one of Miami's premier study away experiences. Offered in the spring semester and summer term, the program puts students of myriad majors in the room with D.C. movers and shakers, and interning in the nation's capital.

    The eight credit-hour integrated core, which consists of four courses - Foundations of Business; Foundations of Business Communication; Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship; and Introduction to Computational Thinking for Business - is required for all Farmer School first-year students. Students move through these classes in teams, working together from the beginning of the semester to the end, culminating with a final client project.
