Clinical informatics fellowship programs: In search of a viable financial model
Applied Clinical Informatics
This is an open letter to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services describing the financial challenges facing the new ACGME-accredited Clinical Informatics fellowship programs and requesting CMS to issue clarifying guidance that would allow CI fellows to bill for clinical services they provide within their primary specialty.
