How can you overcome common challenges when developing strategic thinking skills for business networking?
Brainstorming out loud and throwing out the wildest ideas you can think of can start a creative spark. Feel free to rabbit-hole down to Wonderland when thinking through strategic decision-making. One especially effective tool for me in the past has been to think through past experiences that may seem completely unrelated but were general problems I solved and how those strategies could be applied to the current situation. For example, I think through a hand of poker I played and how I achieved the desired outcome with my opponent. Could that same EQ action or principle be applied in this business-related situation?

What are the most effective team motivation frameworks?
Achieving a goal requires setting a clear objective and establishing a timeline to reach it. In my experience, involving your team in the process of determining both achievable and stretch goals, and setting the expectation that challenges will arise and be conquered, can motivate them to rise to the occasion. When you include them from the beginning, they feel like they are part of the process. As Lewis Carroll famously said in Alice in Wonderland, "If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there." To reach a goal, you must have a clear understanding of your destination and be able to measure your progress based on how you define success.
