The Ohio Oil and Gas Association's (OOGA) mission is to protect, promote, foster and advance the common interest of those engaged in all aspects of the Ohio crude oil and natural gas producing industry.

OOGA represents the people and companies directly responsible for the production of crude oil, natural gas, and associated products in Ohio.

Mr. Halvorson is an Executive Committee member of The Ohio Blockchain Council. The Ohio Blockchain Council (“OBC”) is advancing Bitcoin and Blockchain technology in Ohio. The OBC committed to providing a unified industry voice in Ohio around it’s four key initiatives: Education, Advocacy, Shareholder Engagement and Conduit to the Chamber of Digital Commerce.

Despite numerous industry leaders in energy, infrastructure, finance, and legal sectors, Ohio remains one of the last states to organize and champion Bitcoin & blockchain technologies from a statewide perspective. Ohio represents the historical legacy of infrastructure, manufacturing, and energy which these technologies embody developing the 21st century digital infrastructure.

Uniting industries under a common banner for the purpose of advancing Bitcoin and blockchain technologies to ensure Ohio is positioned as a national (and global) leader in innovation and development. This model creates an efficient and unified approach by combining the resources of multiple companies from various business sectors.
