My experience at UW not only taught me the basics of business planning and administration, but also helped me realize the impact of networking in all life and work experiences. Through its extensive alumni association and my own admiration for Bo Ryan's basketball team, I stay connected and enthused about meeting with my fellow Badger fans and appreciating my Midwest roots.

  • There is nothing like obtaining an advanced degree as an adult having worked in the "real" world for several years beforehand. With Lewis U's phenomenal program, I honed my written communication and public speaking/workshop skills. I learned the ins and outs of financial planning and reporting, the importance of industry and competitive research in developing business plans, and focused on what makes managers true leaders.

In the fall of 2018, the Buffalo Day Hikes Meetup members merged with the Footprints in the Wilderness Meetup and continue to enjoy great hiking throughout Western NY!

  • Buddy's Second Chance Rescue

    Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue is a the largest non-profit dog rescue in Western NY. It was established in 2013 and currently is on track to adopt out 1000 rescue dogs annually. Buddy's is a foster-based rescue that saves dogs from various high kill rescues across the country to help decrease euthanasia rates of innocent dogs. Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue brings the dogs to Western New York where they live with their foster family until we are able to help them find their loving forever homes.
