“I cannot add anything to the enormous and incredible feat of achievements that Dagi has had over the years. As a close friend of his, however, I want to utilize this space to talk about one of his most significant personal traits - integrity. On our numerous trips to Regal Cinemas, we took the local railway service to cut our transportation time. Most of the international students, including me, jumped over the entrance to avoid paying the service fee. But Dagi was the only friend in our circle who always paid for the train, believing that everyone must offer a fair exchange for the service that they are using. Looking back in hindsight, I find it even more impressive given that our pockets were almost empty and the saved amount could have bought us a few meals. I believe that such a strong set of core beliefs, through perseverance, has molded him into the wonderful human being that he is. His capacity for growth is endless and I am very excited to see the path that he treads in the future.”
