    NAMI's purpose is to educate individuals about the advancements in modern medicine, so they no longer fear or stigmatize individuals with a mental health condition. With one out of five individuals wrestling with some sort of mental illness in their lifetime, my job is to educate students, parents, teachers, police officers, social groups, anyone about mental health conditions and reduce the stigma.
