“Darla was part of the recruitment team that brought me to Borders. She handled this in a very professional manner and did everything she could to make the transition for my family go smoothly. Once I joined the IT department, Darla was my HR partner. She helped me recruit a team for the ERP implementation. The requirements were very specific and the pool of candidates very small. She did an excellent job of screening the candidates and making my job of interviewing and selection that much easier. I would not have been successful at Borders without Darla's help. She gave me insight into a very large and complex organization. Everyone on my team respected her and valued her opinion. It is testament to her recruiting abilities that after all of the unfortunate personnel cutbacks, members of that team were intact to the end. I would highly recommend Darla in an executive position in HR or other functional areas of a company as can be seen by her experience set.”
