What do you do if your personal brand needs a boost when transitioning careers?
As someone who has transitioned from the entertainment industry (dancer), to now having my own HR consultancy, I can say that one of the biggest boosters in a successful transition is networking with intent - not just smartly. Keep in mind that if there isn’t a space that is readily available, create a space that works for you and begin to invite people of that network in. At that, the questions are WHO would you invite and why? Networking comes with mutual benefit. Create an atmosphere where you are free to outline the type of networking relationships that you’d want to foster while gaining insights to help those you are networking with.
