    Just one generation ago, the internet was an obscure network of large computers used only by a small community of academic enthusiasts. Barely a handful of visionaries at that time predicted that someday the world wide web would play a major role in our everyday lives. We have since seen it become a global cultural phenomenon, and in the years ahead the internet will have an even more profound effect on the way we work, live, learn, and shop.

    In the early days of direct marketing, direct marketers were paid largely according to the office they sat in. When they moved up a pay grade, their salary went up accordingly. Today, talented managers want to get paid according to their contributions to the organization. This is consistent with the results we see in the discussion of the effectiveness of various incentives in attracting direct marketing talent, which shows performance bonuses to be the most effective incentive. The fact is, many managers view money as a kind of "scorecard" for how well they are performing and how much the company values their talent.

    The primary objective of this position is to profitably grow multi channel sales. The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for providing strategic direction in the key marketing areas of: catalog, email, SEO/SEM, direct mail, social, online marketplaces and website performance. Works closely with the senior leadership team to develop Miles Kimball Company’s short and long range strategic goals and ensuring marketing strategies are aligned to achieve the desired results.

    Major Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

    • Accountable for the development, implementation and execution of all marketing strategies to create the strongest possible brand presence for Miles Kimball, Walter Drake, Easy Comforts, Exposures, and AWC.
    • Leader of the multi-department team to implement integrated marketing campaigns
    • Accountable for the development and execution of all brand marketing plans, forecasts, and analysis.
    • Develop and enhance new customer acquisition strategies for multiple brands.
    • Partners with Brand Managers in identifying and launching new business.
    • Select marketing partners and manage partners to company goals and objectives.
    • Create marketing promotions to generate excitement and interest for new product launches and catalog mailings.
    • Manage, monitor and report on web site visitor usage of site using web analytics software.
    • Lead database management to ensure integrity and accuracy of information; ensures information is leveraged to support marketing programs.
    • Lead direct marketing analytics including response modeling, regression analysis, customer profiling and segmentation, needs analysis, predictive modeling, and other types of quantitative and qualitative strategic business analysis.

    Position Summary: The Chief Marketing Officer is a newly created position that will be a key member of Dealstruck’s executive team and play a critical role in the company’s future growth.
    General Duties: The Chief Marketing Officer will:
    -Provide the leadership and vision to strengthen existing client relationships, as well as identify and penetrate new market segments;
    -Be the steward of the brand(s) and support all marketing efforts across the company, as well as -new business initiatives. This will require very close cooperation with the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer;
