Harvesters face a harsh reality of tightened immigration control and inefficient guest worker programs that prevent growers from finding a workforce to pick their fields.

Harvesters face a harsh reality of tightened immigration control and inefficient guest worker programs that prevent growers from finding a workforce to pick their fields.

    With more than 20 film festival screenings, this documentary is a must told story of critical labor shortages that are forcing farmers to abandon valuable crops given that more than 75% of fresh fruit in the U.S. is hand-harvested. Our food system and communities need solutions.
