What are some innovative ways to present quantitative research in Economics?
Connecting concepts directly to ideas and examples that students are familiar with increases desire to master, understanding, and interest level. It may even result in better teaching evaluations too! I'm minded of an inflation model I used in Money and Banking that used heavy washers as currency. As economic conditions were changed, they got it (and even some with a giggle as a bonus too).
