Additionally, the system may receive a message on the mobile device from the reward fulfillment server comprising a link to a barcode image. The barcode image may represent the cash equivalent reward. The barcode image may be retrieved and the barcode image may be presented to a merchant scanning system to redeem the cash equivalent.
