What do you do if your resume needs to showcase your data analysis skills effectively?
"Show Don't Tell" - 5 Ways to showcase data analysis skills on your resume: 1. In addition to including relevant projects and research publications you worked on, share the links to them with associated methods, tables, and figures. 2. Share your Github repository (analysis scripts, notebooks). 3. Share links to data analysis dashboards you've created. 4. Share links to slide presentations or video talks where you present data analysis you have done. 5. Summarize some information on your resume in a graphical and/or tabular format if it will help show your data visualization and communication skills. Finally, if you have multiple items to include from those above, highlight topics or skills most relevant to the specific job position.

You're working remotely as a data scientist. How can you stay mentally healthy?
The key to maintaining mental health while working remotely as a data scientist is three-fold: 1. HEALTH 101: Mental and physical health are closely related, so start with the following basics of health and wellness for peak mental function. Without this "self-care" foundation, other efforts may be in vain: - Nutrition - Physical activity - Social / cognitive activity - Sleep (quality & quantity) - Avoid smoking & excess alcohol 2. ROUTINE: In most cases, remote work requires discipline, organization, and prioritization. Set clear boundaries between personal and work time. Know your limits and ask for help when needed. 3. RELAX & RECHARGE: Take frequent breaks. Touch grass (get sunlight; be outdoors). Enjoy time with family and friends.
