What are the most effective ways to train and coach your international sales reps remotely?
I like what Marc mentioned about doing a skill inventory analysis for our reps. I'll ensure they are product certified or knowledgeable about our business solutions and services. Another thing that is critical for me is looking into data. As sales leaders, we review essential sales metrics - Win/Loss is one of the seven critical ones (for me). However, I like to go deeper. I look at when each rep experiences more losses and at what step in the sales process. We can see if discovery or presentation is an issue for the rep or if the rep is losing at the closing stage. We can provide the coaching and support needed and avoid the guessing game by looking at that data.
