How do you use transitions and connectors to improve your business writing?
First, ask yourself what relationship the two ideas have to each other. Do they contrast with one another? Does the next idea add on to the previous one? Is there a cause and effect relationship? How do you want the reader to think about your ideas? Once you decide on your relationship, then let that dictate what transition you need to use. Here's a great website that gives you transition word and phrase options for different relationships. https://www.smart-words.org/linking-words/transition-words.html
