“Elaine came to the E-line team as we were in the final year of development on two game titles. Elaine also thrives in the soft skills. Her background as an educator, as well as a passionate advocate and organizer within the game industry, has helped hone her communication skills. She is able to message designs succinctly and effectively, and demonstrates a justified confidence that is rare to see in a young designer. These soft skills also made Elaine effortless to manage. She was self-driven from the very beginning and would continually analyze where her efforts would most be valued by the needs of the project. Without being asked, she would give her full passion and attention above the call of duty to thorny problems that few others saw, and always put in extra effort driven by the pride she takes in her work. The combination of all these skills and dispositions leaves me with an easy recommendation for Elaine as a game designer.
