The foundation produces podcasts, develops websites, distributes newsletters, maintains Women Connect4Good, Inc. resources, publishes books, provides keynote speakers, conducts research, surveys and other studies and publishes the results, and facilitates networking among smart, amazing women devoted to changing the world.

In addition to all of Elissa’s experience as a strategist in the health and wellness fields, she is a master networker and connector between organizations and individuals in general. Her accomplishments from this skill set was recognized in 2015 when she was given the first METal International "Woman of the Year" Award. This was the first award given to a woman in this 15 year organization of media, entertainment, technology alpha leaders and networkers based in Los Angeles.

Elissa’s most proud accomplishment was playing an instrumental role in the support to the passage of California bill SB907, which granted Naturopathic Doctors licensure in the state of California, as well as being instrumental to saving the Ca. State Bureau of Naturopathic Medicine from being cut from the state budget. Her efforts lead to an esteemed appointment as public member to the bureau by Governor Schwarzenegger in 2004 and the honorable unanimous election as Chair of the bureau by her…

Elissa did not get to serve the full term due to loosing her second husband shortly after being elected but she was most proud to have been a part of such a monumental endeavor for Naturopathic Medicine in the state of California and to have been recognized for the role she played.
