“Elizabeth reached out to discuss my limited series on the true story of a forgotten royal princess and gave me very valuable advice. She is knowledgeable about the business and so generous in sharing her knowledge. I really appreciate her encouragement and insight”

Here's how you can bounce back with a positive mindset after a major theater failure.
Don’t dwell on it, but do learn from it. Failures are a part of moving forward. It happens to all of us. When you’re faced with a failure, theatrical or otherwise, absolutely do a postmortem to determine what went wrong. Identify to the best of your ability what caused the production to fail. Not enough planning? Not enough budget? Hiring or personnel mistakes? Not enough oversight? Too much micromanaging? Too much multitasking and inability to delegate? Creating art is a delicate process, filled with nuance & a zillion decisions. But when we look closely, we can identify an area where things started to go amiss. I find it helpful to identify what I would’ve done differently. Then take it with me to the next production. Onwards & Upwards!

Here's how you can effectively navigate crisis situations in a theatrical production setting.
First and foremost, find your inner calm and assess the problem before you take action. Remember that safety of the crew is always your top priority, so if the crisis puts any person or animal in danger, you need to halt production immediately -- clear the set, and call 911 if necessary. If you've established that the crisis isn't life-threatening, then decide if this is a problem that can be solved in the moment for production to continue; or do you need to pivot and go to another set-up while this problem is addressed. Utilize the experience of department heads to reach that decision. Avoid the blame game and focus on what you (and others) need to do to course correct and fix the problem in the moment.

How can you find the best video production services that cater specifically to the needs of small businesses?
Clarify for yourself and your team exactly what kind of video production you need. Be specific. Find examples of what you need to create and communicate / share those with potential collaborators. Personal recommendations are my first go-to. What companies have they worked with/ who do they recommend? Next up google search for videographers - watch their samples. Check social media and see whose content is great / grabs you and reach out to them to find out who did it.
