How do you make your mobile app adaptable to different screen sizes and orientations?
Testing should be an integral part of your total experience design effort. Understand your user community by testing early and often. Create usability tests that are quick to create and easy to synthesize user insight from. Leverage platforms such as UserZoom or UsabilityHub to test remotely. Create general population studies to gain insight into your design assumptions. Results are typically returned faster than a study of internal resources or customers. If you need insight into specific business needs or processes, you can look at a study that has been created with a more focused group of known users. Be prepared to compensate these users for their time in some way!

How do you make your mobile app adaptable to different screen sizes and orientations?
When you think about responsive designs, please be sure to understand your user's needs. Some enterprise web experiences have very high "data density" and can be challenging using screens smaller than a laptop. Understanding your users and their context will allow you to evaluate how, when, and what type of content should be available for smaller screen sizes.

5 Digital Publishing App Trends to Watch in 2012
Mashable
Digital publishing grew tremendously in 2011. With the unveiling of new technologies such as the iPad 2, the iPhone 4S and Amazon’s Kindle Fire, we’ve dramatically changed the way companies will disseminate information for years to come.
