    Being a mentor to a Year Up student, is to have a unique opportunity to help young adults navigate new experiences and shape their careers. It’s your chance to inspire—and be inspired by—motivated, up and-coming talent in the workforce.
    Year Up is a one-year, intensive training program that provides low-income young adults, ages 18-24, with a combination of hands-on skill development, college credits, corporate internships, and mentorship support.

    The GK Fund was founded by Colette Phillips and Andre Porter in December of 2019 to close the racial wealth gap by facilitating access to capital, technology and mentorship for startups and small businesses BIPOC founders. The fund is supported by a dedicated network of foundations, corporations and individuals. Through its portfolio of integrated programming and partnerships, the fund helps promising BIPOC founders build connections, secure loan capital, receive a website and connect with angel investors, family offices and venture capital firms.

    Association of Fundraising Professionals

    Each year, the Massachusetts Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals sponsors a Diversity Fellows Program. Through a selection process, 10 fellows are chosen for a two-year program that includes AFP membership, access to educational opportunities and a mentoring arrangement with a senior professional, among other benefits.
