Allow me then to concentrate on what sets her apart from and above most people. First, Erin is fearless. She has an ability to find solutions around daunting obstacles and to not be intimidated by any business situation, despite the odds. She is grace under pressure personified. Ask her about her hobby sometime and you will see how this fearlessness and love of adventure carries through into her personal life. Related to this is her spirit of innovation. She seeks out the next emerging change or challenge and embraces it (as opposed to avoiding it) and the rest of us around her are only too happy to follow along. Erin was at the forefront at the very beginnings of both the marketing analytics and online analytics industries. Erin gets it done, she makes things happen. If there is a problem, she signals to her team members and to her management well in advance so that surprises are at a minimum.. She leads, she takes ownership. Finally, Erin is engaging, pleasant and easy to do business with. As her manager I valued this the most. So did her clients. It is very rare to find her level of skills combined with her sense of "friendly drive". Years back, Erin let me know that she was ready to move on to her next job. I grabbed a flight from JFK to SFO to try and personally retain her (armed with requisite incentives). After long discussions, she ultimately did decide to join a company few had heard of at that time: comScore. Even though I didn't like the outcome, we parted friends and remain so to this day. Once again, looking back, Erin's business instincts were correct and she made the right decision.”
