I was the keynote speaker at the CMU Philharmonic's "Preview Parties" which were a synergy of educational, outreach, and audience engagement efforts.

I obtained a wide-ranging Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University. This degree allowed me to study the field where my passion lies—music—but also to learn new skills and cultivate new interests.

Many English and American literature classes taught me the weight words can carry and how to articulate my thoughts; studies in global history helped me understand that the past is critical to understanding the future.
