The Dream Center of Tampa was founded in November 2010 with the vision of serving youth and residents living in East Tampa and Ybor City. We strive to help youth and families develop resiliency, build character, develop strong, supportive, and enduring community relationships, through offering enhanced family mentoring, after-school care, computer access & homework help, and athletic programs.

About the Dream Center of Tampa
The Dream Center of Tampa is a residential community center located in Ybor City. Our vision is to transform lives in our community through caring relationships. We host after school programs for students grades K-12 Monday through Thursday and a monthly Adopt A Block outreach in the surrounding area which includes, serving seniors, street clean-up and beautification projects. The Dream Center also serves the community through large community events such as our Annual Back to School Bash and Christmas Shoppe. The Dream Center also maintains a partnership with local elementary, middle and high schools through after-school clubs and adopt-a-school initiatives. Show less

Year Up's mission is to close the Opportunity Divide by providing urban young adults with the skills, experience, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through professional careers and higher education. I am currently a mentor and tutor for the year up program focusing on computer programming and business communication skills.

Tzu Chi Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 1966 by Dharma Master Cheng Yen in the impoverished east coast of Taiwan. The Foundation has been contributing to better social and community services, medical care, education and humanism in Taiwan for nearly 40 years.
