“I felt compelled to write this today following yet another fantastic interaction with Gabe Alonso while in his role at EPL. As a client side marketing exec, turned client side Procurement exec, turned Ad Agency COO turned consultant to all, I absolutely get jazzed when I have the great fortune of working with really smart, wise, emotionally intelligent, saavy, friendly, kind executives with a crazy paper trail tenure and a very high level of executional skills, Ie they don’t just talk the talk…they walk the walk! This combo is rare and Gabe has “it”. My FIDM Digital Marketing Spring Class of 2023 seniors “Strategies in Business Management” course have had the opportunity of working on an EPL challenge thanks to Andy (past CMO) and Gabe, who on top of his day to day job is helping to step in for their open CMO role along with his marketing partner that oversees Brand work. I can’t say enough about Gabe and how thoroughly impressed I am with his current and futuristic knowledge in marketing, his extreme level of professionalism and commitment, and his ability to never let them see him sweat despite being pulled in many directions. He has been there for these students despite his very busy schedule and has encouraged them to shine bright with constructive feedback. Beautiful to watch, especially considering we all just met one month ago! I know a diamond when I see it. This is teamwork, this is coaching and leading by example. I look forward to seeing all that Gabe’s future holds. Thank you Gabe for being a fantastic role model to these rising digital marketers! ”
