Founded in 1971, the Association of Fundraising Professionals Golden Gate has approximately 400 active members. Local chapter members are San Francisco Bay Area professionals, including development and communications leaders, executive directors, associates, managers, consultants, coaches, and board members. AFP empowers individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional education, networking, research, and advocacy. Internationally, AFP has over 200 chapters representing over 30,000 fundraisers who raise billions of dollars a year for good causes in their community. Lead an all volunteer-run women's educational organization with 700-plus members featuring online support forums and regular in-person events. We empower, celebrate, and honor sexually-liberated, self-aware, and socially-responsible women with a community, support, and a whole lot of fun.

Co-facilitated a network affiliation of over 150 Bay Area professional nonprofit women. Activities included an online forum and annual dinner event.

Development Executives Roundtable (DER) is an all volunteer-run agency was founded in the 1960’s by Henry A. “Hank” Rosso, one of the early leaders in the fundraising field. DER builds thriving organizations and communities by helping nonprofit professionals teach the joy of giving, providing accessible training and peer support for Bay Area fundraisers at all stages of their careers. I was their Board President in 2008 and 2009.

Horizons Foundation is a community foundation rooted in and dedicated to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) community. I sat on their public grants panel two yeas in a row.

SFAC support the arts and artists in San Francisco. As the agency that champions the arts, it strives to integrate the arts into all aspects of city life. I sat on their public grants panel for 2 years in a row.

Nonprofit multi-purpose counseling center for the LGBT communities of San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. It prioritize services to middle and low-income individuals and families who cannot afford private therapy or support services. Fees are set on a sliding scale based on income, and some services are free.

Metropolitan Regional Arts Council improves arts access for Twin Cities metro communities through grants, trainings, resources, and advocacy for artists and organizations.
