In an effort to create a recurring revenue model in industrial-IOT solutions, developed from scratch an architecture. The results: Built a 30-person organization and launched multiple services, software & hardware—selling directly to global, enterprise manufacturing customers within the first two years.

Overcame barriers associated with complex customer interfaces in manufacturing automation where pressures to create custom software for every customer were immense. The results: A business model turned on its head by developing a recurring revenue model in standardized software that saw 95-98% reuse of source code—creating exponential growth in recurring revenue.

Led the launch of a venture-backed technology startup that included an ambitious go-to-market plan, an offshore manufacturing supply chain and a full business plan with financial projections. The results: Development of a network of 900 VAR with a doubling of annual revenue YoY four years running—results that led to multiple successful rounds of VC and bank funding and a subsequent successful acquisition.

Recruited to turn around an under-performing emerging video telecom business. Refreshed the product mix, launched new products and added a national video telephone service. The results: Approximately $20M in new revenue in the first year with 100K units shipped in the first eight months.
