Here's how you can demonstrate humility in a leadership role.
Eat last. Pick up the kitchen. Organize the conference room. Sweep the parking lot and front entry. When I do these things, everyone sees that no one is above taking care of our work environment. They always want to jump in to take over for me. I happily say, "I got this, but thank you." They typically then come back and say, "I love working with someone who will sweep the parking lot and get her hands dirty."

The event includes insight and information regarding the community's largest nonprofit daycare provider, as well as performances by the center's children, and a live auction.
