You need to manage vendors using cloud services. What are the most effective ways to do it?
Don’t lose sight of the actual business problem you are solving on behalf of your customer. Cloud technology is incredibly powerful and can unlock amazing opportunities. Just keep in mind that the cloud itself is not the actual goal - it is a valuable tool to help your organization achieve those goals.

You need to manage vendors using cloud services. What are the most effective ways to do it?
Have steady face-to-face communication cadence to review mutual KPIs in an open forum with stakeholders from both organizations. Rather than assuming everyone is reading the relationship reports or waiting until a crisis erupts to meet, meet either in person (when practical) or virtually at least once a month to hold each other accountable for performance on both sides, review action items, and discuss product feature roadmaps. If this is a new process, it will likely feel heavyweight and a little awkward. Power through it anyway and refine it until it becomes mutually beneficial.

You need to manage vendors using cloud services. What are the most effective ways to do it?
Before signing up for more services, make sure your vendor is helping you maximize the value of the services you’re already consuming from them. Have them compare what you’re doing with known best practices and how comparable organizations are solving similar use cases. In my experience, this quickly sorts out true partnerships from transactional sales relationships.

Economic Empowerment
Terrific shared responsibility model - recipients work 400 hours alongside the volunteers to establish 'sweat equity' in their new home as well as become responsible for a reasonable interest-free mortgage. Mortgage proceeds are then used to fund other neighborhood projects, enabling those being helped to help others in turn in a very tangible and meaningful way.
