    Activities and Societies: At the University of Agder, I learned how to work with diverse groups of people with differing viewpoints. I love to travel, and this opportunity allowed me to grow my teamwork and communication skills. It has also taught me how to be both flexible and adaptable in a different learning environment.

    I volunteer with my sorority, and help implement our philanthropy every year. We plan a 5K run, football event, and other philanthropic events in one week, which raises thousands of dollars every year. In the past 3 years, we have raised over $45,000, which we donate to the Corvallis CASA to help train advocates to help abused and neglected children in the court.

    Beta Gamma Sigma

    Beta Gamma Sigma selects students from the top 10% of business students at OSU, which is the honor society recognizing business excellence since 1913. They recognize students for outstanding scholastic achievements, and the honor society is the highest recognition a business student can receive in an undergraduate or master’s program at a school accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

  • Distinguished Senior Marketing Student Award

    Oregon State University Marketing Faculty

    Selection is based on academic transcript, resume, and other information documenting the student’s achievements and activities, and the winner is selected by the Marketing and Emeritus Marketing Faculty. Only one senior in the Marketing Department in the College of Business receives this award.

  • Arthur Stonehill Exchange Scholarship and Lobbato Exchange Scholarship

    I was awarded this scholarship based on an essay that I wrote for my study abroad program in Norway. This scholarship helped with the expenses of traveling, and was awarded to 20 students in the study abroad program.

    I was awarded this scholarship based on promising success in the marketing department, and was recruited to work at C2C (the Close to the Customer Project- current job). Only one student in the college received this.

  • Oregon State Presidential Scholarship

    I was awarded the Presidential Scholarship, where only a select few Freshman receive this. The scholarship is based on volunteer experience, grades, and community involvement. In order to keep this scholarship each year, I must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above, and have been successful in doing so throughout my four years at Oregon State.
