How can you help remote workers feel less isolated?
Everyone brings unique experiences and points of view to a team. Let those remote employees lead a meeting, cross-train team members, and present on a project or area they know. While they might not be physically in your office, you can pull them in and vice versa. Set KPIs and idea-sharing for them - let them come back and train up or across so they are participating and engaging. Also, set a consistent date and time to have an update with you - and keep it. You used to call home when you moved away and call your employees to talk. Communication is key in keeping that shared sense of mission alive.

What are some ways to build resilience in a marketing team facing budget cuts?
Budget cuts are like the tide - they come in and go out. The key is to make sure everyone is aware of the business of your business - what leads to cuts (revenue reduction or an out-of-balance expense/income) so they know how their work affects the business. Know what your KPIs are, know what is driving and shaping your audience, and if you don't, research, research, research, and ask the why. I agree with communication; it's not only up but within your team and below and across. The more communication - and clarity - on expectations, needs, skills, and creative ideas to drive an audience/consumer, the easier it will be to get through a budget change.

What are the best ways to stand out in Brand Strategy as an entry-level professional?
At every level of a business, feedback is vital. Never be afraid to ask for input or an audit (creative or workflow) when on a project - just be aware of your colleague's and/or superiors' time. Know how to read the room when you ask. Regarding mentorship, a smart executive - even a C-suite - knows they can learn from staff across and below in their organization. If, for example, you are a heavy consumer of social content and it is something that benefits the business, offer your first-hand experiences, analysis, and trends. Don't assume that everyone on your team has the time to be a user if you are. Also, find someone in your organization to learn from and ask for a 15-minute conversation - keep it focused.
