  • Micro-controller based project

    In the 5th semester an individual project was done based on the LCD display. In this project I used 8051 Micro-Controller and an LCD was interfaced with the Micro-controller. The idea behind this project was to understand the interfacing of LCD with the Micro-Controller and understanding of different commands of LCD. Keil u-Vision was used for the programming.

  • Designing of SDRAM Controller

    -

    Designed the SDRAM controller that allows SDRAM memory to be interfaced with a Micro-Processor (80386SX) having only asynchronous memory support.

    The SDRAM controller should be designed to interface with one or more SDRAM memory device.

    • For the evaluation of rate versus power control the following different schemes were used :

    o Using channel inversion power control for IS-95

    o Using equal power allocation for CDMA 2000

  • RS 485 based bidirectional peer-to-peer communications system

    • The main scope of the project was to communicate with the peer node using RS-485 protocol.
    • This project was done using ARM cortex M4F micro-controller.
    • The node was capable to communicate with the peer node on the 2-wired data bus once the text command is given using the PC.
    • By using this we can control the node or other peripheral (i.e. LCD, stepper motor, RGB) connected on the other end.

  • Smart Card Based e-Ticketing System

    • Worked on the Embedded System named “Smart Card based e-Ticketing System” based on the micro-controller AT89S52, RFID tags & receiver, LCD.
    • Main responsibilities were to develop the firmware for the different peripherals.
    • Main C and Assembly language technologies were mainly used for the code development.
    • As a tool I used Keil.
    • The main scope of the project was to reduce the complexity for ticketing in the public transportation.
