The CBIC Awards Gala is the largest and only one of its kind recognizing the region’s most successful startups and innovators!

Assist with membership outreach to private service professionals to increase awareness of and participation in the Domestic Estate Management Association (DEMA) with the ultimate goals of bolstering mutual support, forming a brain trust of shared resources, and elevating the profession.

Pixie's Pen Pals program trains inmates at several Virginia correctional facilities to train and socialize rescue dogs with the guidance and instruction of professional dog trainers. In the process, the program provides life skills to the inmates and lowers the rate of euthanasia in Richmond Animal Control and Southside SPCA shelters. Apprenticed with Virginia Dare of North Star Canines.

As a member of this governance Board, I helped lead the strategic planning process, assisted with recruitment of a Development Director, represented SDV at community events, assisted with development and marketing efforts, assisted with development of training progress tracking & accountability system, assisted with training and operational activities, and implemented Board communication and file sharing solution.

“More people biking more places, more often, more safely.” Community organizing, social media marketing, web publishing, newsletters, volunteer recruitment & engagement, club & retail coordination, media releases, public speaking, lobbying to local and state government. New 3’ Passing Law went into effect 7/1/14!

Developed positive behavior modification training skills during an 18 month volunteer commitment to raise and train a highly successful service dog puppy.

♦Raised $31,000+ for Multiple Sclerosis research & services as a cyclist and volunteer team captain.
