THE MULTI-ROTOR SCENE
Multirotors, or “drones” as they are also known, have become a part of everyday life in the last two years. Their ease of use and relatively cheap prices has meant that anybody can now go online or into many a high street shop and buy a ready to fly multirotor. A major attraction of these affordable drones is that they are, or can be, fitted with a camera. From small low resolution to large DSLR cameras, there is a multirotor to suit. Manufacturers have realised this potential and are bringing out new models and associated equipment on an almost daily basis. Aircraft, flight controllers, cameras and camera stabilization as well as video transmitting devices are being advanced to keep up with the growing demand.
