“Even to this day, I compare people managers to Ifti. Ifti was not the first manager I reported to but he was the 1st manager to pat on my back (literally). He had a strong bond with all of his team members and I can vouch how inclined and attentive he was towards his teams personal issues. He completely believed... practiced work life balance for his team but I ain't too sure if maintained it for himself as I recollect that he held a team meeting on a late Saturday evening when it was his wedding the following afternoon. Ifti could talk for hours but he would restrict his feedback to a few words that made it more meaningful as well as palatable. He was never short of praise for his team. While I am glad to see the heights he has soared in a relatively short time but I am not surprised. Today, I have visited many countries but there was a time when I did not even dream of it and guess what .. one evening after work Ifti took me to an agents office and made sure I applied for a passport. With an attribute like that are you surprised that even to this day, I compare people managers to Ifti. ”
