“Jaan is an exemplary unboss. Open. Very open! Let's the team chime in on big decisions. Acknowledges all contributions and seemingly without feeling any pressure to agree with everybody. (Mission) Driven. The purpose of Useful Science is unambiguous and easy to relate to - not to mention easy to fall in love with. Quick. Not only in mind, but also in ceasing opportunities and acting on new knowledge. Any co-worker, employer, employee, student or client will be in safe hands with Jaan.”

So I built this not-for-profit and scaled the volunteer base to 100+ high school, undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral trainees who communicated to our audience of 20k+ subscribers while gaining valuable science communication skills.
