Considering I was promoted into a new role, that stuck with me as I always felt trusted and supported which pushed me to give more and work harder. I believe the job can make you feel valuable but leaders can make you feel valued. Jackie consistently made me feel valued. While I didn’t appreciate it at the time, I was sad that circumstances cut our working relationship so short because I learned so much about professionalism, presence, leadership and preparedness from her. ”
