How can you market your Case Management skills as a freelancer in healthcare?
It is important to always be learning. As a case manager you need to be in the know of all the different services for your clients for the various levels of cares and concerns that they will need. Attending conferences related to your niche will be vital in learning and growing your network. For example if you are a case manager in the mental health world you can attend the Psychotherapy Networker Conference and network with treatment providers, psychiatrists, therapists, and other industry specific folks.

Networking and pitching is vital in building your case management company. Once you identify your niche you can really think about branding. If you are a case manager for the behavioral health space you know you can network yourself at conferences that specializes in mental/behavioral health, you can attend networking meet ups with providers who specialize, and you can market yourself on 1:1 appointments with hospitals, therapists, and other providers who need assistance and need to connect their clients with a case manager.

One thing I have found helpful is to identify your niche. Having a niche you can market yourself strategically and intentionally. For example if you are a case manager that specializes in behavioral health you can market your case management services to treatment centers, therapists, psychiatrists, and other professionals as an added resource for their patients.
