Created the curriculum for and taught the first ever CMMC Registered Practitioner content, which was the first authoritative CMMC training available to DoD contractors and their service providers. My efforts led to over 2,000 people earning their Registered Practitioner certification and generated the revenue the CMMC Accreditation Body (now the Cyber-AB) needed to hire full-time professional staff.

The CMMC model was created in order to assess and enhance the cybersecurity posture of the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). The CMMC is intended to serve as a verification mechanism to ensure appropriate levels of cybersecurity practices and processes are in place to ensure basic cyber hygiene for data in DoD’s partner’s networks. Moderated and spoke at the ACC Foundation's inaugural Cybersecurity Forum in Washington DC, on the topic of data anonymization and big data. We discussed different techniques for how to apply anonymization, and how big data can be used to foil anonymization. We also discussed the concepts of privacy and security by design: ensuring that systems architecture take security and privacy into account from the beginning to help maximize the customer experience.

Collaborative and joint development arrangements can provide valuable economic and strategic opportunities to both parties.
