    National Minor Leauge Football

    Inducted in the 2015 class of the NMLF Hall of Fame: (Player/Coach/Administrator) James created the Texas Football League in 1992 and moved the team from the Pro Style Football League. He was involved with making the TFL a broader audience based league, and developed individual stadium responsibility, marketing and community support to improve the league to the next level of competiveness.     Inducted in the 2015 class of the NMLF Hall of Fame: (Player/Coach/Administrator) James created the Texas Football League in 1992 and moved the team from the Pro Style Football League. He was involved with making the TFL a broader audience based league, and developed individual stadium responsibility, marketing and community support to improve the league to the next level of competiveness. The concept grew at a faster pace than realzied. By the start of the inagural season, teams from Oklahoma and Louisiana were included which ultimately became the Southwest Divison of the IFL, the following year. He also was responsible for Linemen coaching and training, including player rotations and substitutions. He also played on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball for the Texas Rampage (Dallas) in his league. His team record was 32-16. They were Texas Division Champions in 93, 95, 96. South Conference Finalists in 1993 and 1996. League Championship runner up in 1993. James was fortunate in gaining the favor of Tex Schramm former General Manager of the Dallas Cowboys who mentored him for several years as a player and more so as a General Manager.     Boy Scouts of America

    Earned the rank of Eagle Scout - 1986 Longhorn Council Plano, TX. troop 25. Also had the fortune of delivering on the Eagle challenge by serving as an adult leader in scouting for an additional 20 years. Positions held include as ASM, Cub Master, Unit Commissioner and District advancement Committee Chair for the Tonkawa District, Longhorn Council.
