Tau Beta Pi is universally recognized as the preeminent engineering honor society that students of all engineering disciplines strive to join. Membership to Tau Beta Pi is by invitation only from a collegiate chapter. To become a member, candidates must meet both the scholastic and exemplary character requirements, be elected by a student chapter, pay a one-time membership fee, and attend an initiation ceremony. You must be a junior (top 1/8) or senior (top 1/5) in your engineering class.

The national development team is the stepping stone for many athletes desiring to make a national or Olympic team. It provides support through coaching, ammunition, and financial support for national and international matches. Members of the national development team are expected to compete for placements and travel slots for ISSF matches, as well as increasing position in the national standings.

SPAC (Student Professional Awareness Conference), Nationally and locally recognized speakers

IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (IEEE-HKN), the honor society of IEEE, promotes excellence in the profession and in education with ideals of Scholarship, Character and Attitude. It was founded on 28 October 1904 for students of electrical engineering. Today, IEEE-HKN promotes professional accomplishment, service, and development for students and professionals in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and other IEEE fields of interest.

IEEE student branches allow for their members in network and engage with others in the electrical and electronics engineering fields.
