I volunteer as a National Executive Advisor to Ascend, the largest, non-profit Pan-Asian leadership organization for business professionals in North America. I am a frequent lecturer on leadership and diversity issues to Fortune 500 companies and a global thought leader on corporate leadership and diversity. I co-developed the innovative leadership program, Executive Insight for Asian Women.

The Southwest Region Board represents six states including Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Responsible for supporting fundraising efforts in Montgomery County including working directly on the annual Heart Ball gala for five years with responsibilities including Executive Leadership Team and Chair of Auction Committee.

During my six years on the Board, I served on the Trustee and Finance Committees. During my term, The Pavilion was consistently ranked within the Top 5 outdoor amphitheaters in the world in ticket sales. The Pavilion provides symphony, educational and cultural programs to the community.

The Computer History Museum is the world’s leading institution exploring the history of computing and its ongoing impact on society. The Museum is dedicated to the preservation and celebration of computer history and is home to the largest international collection of computing artifacts including hardware, software, documentation, oral histories and moving images.

Served as a member of the National Audit Committee with responsibilities including financial and risk oversight, internal controls oversight, independent auditor engagement, annual financial statements and Form 990 tax return.

I served as the Lead Executive Advisor for Ascend Pinnacle, the largest U.S. network of experienced and aspiring Asian corporate board directors, where my accomplishments included establishing the Aspiring Directors Institute, a board readiness program for aspiring Asian corporate board directors; organizing the first Diverse Women on Boards Forum held in September 2020, and developing the first research study released in September 2020 on “Asian Representation on Fortune 1000 Boards.”
