    I went to Siberia twice-once with USAID and one time with Land O' Lakes. Each of these trips was three weeks in length. I found that helping others meant more to me than sharing of knowledge. I feel empowered helping others as much as possible. Very interesting to see how Russia is so involved passionately with potatoes and the influence to their lives.

    All of the growers were organic. I worked with the varieties of potatoes, I would help design and implement later. Rosara, Agata…

    Worked with the largest cooperation of potato growers. It was a very good organization to represent the main portion of Idaho Potato Production.

    Helped form Potato Grower’s of Idaho Cooperative as founding secretary. This was difficult during NAFTA, as we wanted true field to fork relationships for Idaho Family Farmers

    Very proud to have set guidelines for the proper application and usage of pesticides. I was appointed by Pat Takasugi. I formulated this as I found worker safety was nil and all agriculture people were exposed, including myself. I was poisoned by taking petiole and soil samples in potatoes during my agronomy career.
