What are effective ways to overcome resistance to setting SMART goals?
It is okay to meet the CLT/PT where they’re at, and not work harder than the CLT/PT(pre contemplated). In order to complete any level of care, building rapport is #1. That can/will influence change, but unless it is a safety concern, we shouldn’t try to influence.

What are the most effective cost-saving strategies for case management?
I agree as well, all other steps have its place in case management but the first most cost effective method is the client/patient buy-in. Without this step first, the professionals are spinning their wheels waiting for the coordination of care to start; example, case management does their part and contacts/coordinates care for the current or next step (that’s a cost); client/patient doesn’t show up to the next step/treatment (cost). Additionally, the case manager/team schedules this coordination out for the next six months for client/patient; client/patient doesn’t follow through with treatment successfully (cost). Client/patient needs to commit to their treatment. That is the only benefit, the providers are already working (cost) J

Who I'm raising money for
Most have seen the work I have been doing in the San Diego community with helping people in need. A lot of the population I work with are homeless people. San Diego being the 4th largest homeless population in the United States. My goal is to raise money to provide, personal protective equipment (PPE), educate the population on the current risk, and resources I need to complete this task/goal. This will also include, getting some of the community.

I understand that the entire country is in need. I’m just one of the people out here..truly in the line of fire/risk.

The rise of internet availability and internet capable devices has made it more possible than ever to use the internet excessively. Existing literature suggests an association between higher internet use and depressive symptoms, but studies are few and entail various limitations. Therefore, the present study aimed to explore the relationship between internet addiction and depressive symptoms within a general United States population. Results suggested that internet addiction may be significantly associated only with the cognitive symptoms of depression and not with the somatic symptoms of depression, with four cognitive symptoms of depression accounting for the entire association: guilt, low self-worth, trouble with decision making, and life dissatisfaction.
