“I had the privilege of reporting to Jennifer Fields for about one year and I can honestly say she is right up there with some of the other top managers I have had in my career. Three characteristics that stand out to me about her is that she is sharp, transparent, and courageous. Jennifer actually cared about me. Our weekly one-on-one conversations weren't forced in an effort for her to check off a box. They were genuine, which made me value our relationship even more. Another highlight of working for her was that she trusted me to do my job and weighed in with a keen eye when I had questions or concerns. She did not micromanage me. There is beauty in working for someone who lets you showcase your skill set and does not feel threatened by what you bring to the table. Jennifer always supported my decisions and let me fly. Something else I loved about her leadership style was that she advocated for me on my behalf. Although she had a million things on her plate, I wasn't just an employee to her, I was someone she saw potential in and who she thought could be a tremendous asset to the company. It is because of this, I was able to flourish under her long-standing tenure at WebMD. ”
