Jennifer Satter

As a Kiwanian, I participated in events that served children in my community. Including but not limited to attending the informational booth at community events, volunteering with the yearly Easter Egg hunt, and participation in the Giant Street Parade float.

Coordinate volunteers to train and fill shifts at Warming Center.
Previously had served at the warming center as a volunteer for 3 years

- Reviewed site design proposals for adherence to City code.
- Participated in public land use hearings.
- Advised city staff and council on possible changes to city code.
- Contributed to the development of updated Transportation System Plan, Wastewater Management plan, and Sewer Systems Development plans.

Leadership group building a path and bridge to increase safety and recreational mobility around Molalla

Citizen member of Budget Committee responsible for reviewing yearly budget information and making recommendations to the school board.

It was an honor to serve my community as a board member for the Molalla River School District. As a director my personal focus had been the areas of Supported Education, ESL, and any issues that impacted disadvantaged youth. I fought to protect LGBTQ+ students and their families from groups outside of our community, looking to expand their influence across the region. As a director, along with the rest of the board, I analyzed and approved the yearly budget. I took part in committee work to approve classified employee contracts. I took part in committee work to approve the superintendent contract. I participated in the annual performance review of the superintendent. I reviewed and adopted district policy. I reviewed and approved contracts for food services, capital improvement contractors, SRO program with the MPD, Trillium Services to provide mental health services to families in our district. I also reviewed and approved contracts with the two charter schools in our district. Show less
