Your company is undergoing a culture change. How do you measure its effectiveness?
Behavioral shift is the true marker of actual culture change. Though many employees and leaders can be unsure of exactly what is being asked of them. A playbook that shares real examples ie “today we do this and tomorrow we would like to start doing that” can really light the way. The more specific, the better the clarity, and the more likely it can be accomplished. It also creates specifics to be used for measurement.

How can you foster a positive company culture?
Go beyond being the “example”. Culture should be supported by ongoing strategic initiatives. If your culture language isn’t driven by actions, goals, metrics, and non-negotiables … it is going nowhere fast. The leaders need to consider each written statement and say, “this is great, but how will we actually do this?” Once action is committed to and is executed against for one,two, three years… then your desired/promised culture is taking shape.
