How do you evaluate and update your POS system analytics and reporting strategy regularly?
This piece is critical to the successful implementation of any system. Begin with the end in mind. What will cause you and your team to react to the data that is being produced. What drives your business? Specific high margin items? Labor being right sized? Sales mix of alcohol and food? Off premise food mix versus in house? All of these things are critical to setup properly so you can evaluate and pivot when necessary once you are running your operation. Knowing these items and measuring them is imperative to being able to make changes so you can maximize your 4 wall economics.
