I had the opportunity to take on a voluntary project, completely revamping the website for http://www.dashingwhippets.org. My main goal was to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for all committee members, enabling them to effortlessly update the website's content. Despite being unpaid, I passionately embraced the challenge.

My contributions encompassed crafting wireframes, meticulously sketching layouts, and skillfully integrating branding elements into a bespoke WordPress theme. Additionally, I successfully integrated our previous meetup portal, enhancing the overall online presence. Through my efforts, the Instagram social media experience witnessed a remarkable growth of 700%.

It was a fulfilling journey with the team, and in early 2017, I decided to step back from the project, leaving behind a polished digital platform that continues to serve its users effectively. This experience further honed my abilities as a designer, and I am excited to continue leveraging my strengths in delivering exceptional digital experiences and innovative product designs.

She’s made OpenAI’s ChatGPT create worksheets for her, serve as a travel guide and summarize Wikipedia articles about her native country of Dominica—although it got some facts wrong with that last task. ChatGPT even wrote the out-of-office message for her trip to Gen AI.

“You don’t want to be the one who’s catching up,” she told The Standard about the technology. “You actually want to be one of the people using it.”

She believes tools like ChatGPT could help health care companies rewrite text for people with lower reading levels or explain medications in understandable language.

“In our health care sector, we focus a lot on accessibility,” she said. “Our industry saves lives, so you want to make sure the content is understandable to everyone.”

Although many of her friends are afraid of AI and its potential to eliminate human jobs, O’Donnell says she isn’t worried—in her industry, everything must be accurate and must undergo legal review.

“The human behind it still has to fact-check anything that is generated,” she said.

I started running in 2008 and traveled across the United States to participate in numerous distance races. In 2015, I tried a triathlon and got hooked right away.

I fell in love with the training. I found a coach to teach me swimming techniques and I invested in a beautiful road bike. I also kept running and have run two 50-mile races since then.

I fell in love with the training. I found a coach to teach me swimming techniques and I invested in a beautiful road bike. I also kept running and have run two 50-mile races since then.

Eventually, I began observing the lack of diversity, as I started placing at specific distances. I took it upon myself to attempt to enter more races.

At races I try to wear vibrant colors to stand out and wave at kids that I see in the crowds. I wrote this book to inspire my daughter to try triathlons as she grows up, I also want to encourage young girls who don't usually see athletes like me in books.

After I started racing, I came across amazing triathletes like Sika Henry and Max Fennell and ultramarathon runner Mirna Valerio who are redefining the world of distance sports and what athletes usually look like.

I hope reading this book will help motivate companies to sponsor programs to help underprivileged kids get access to pools, equipment and racing. My goal is to inspire others (including my daughter Mattis) to come to love the sport as much as I do.
