Associate Member Advisory Council

Represents the interests of associate members. Provides insight and education to members on technological, regulatory and evolutionary business changes through publications, seminars and workshops. Spectrum, protocol, speed and latency are just a few changes and benefits of a 5G deployment, but how will this affect connectivity in a modern hospitality company? This group will dispel 5G myths, and address use cases that touch infrastructure, IoT, edge computing and many others.

Fiber to the Room

This group created a series of best practice documents and webinars on how to effectively deliver and deploy a fiber network in a hotel. Deliverables included and introduction to fiber and Passive Optical Network (PON) technology and design guides for new builds and retrofits. The mission of the Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation is to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Pagosa Springs and Archuleta County by creating jobs; encouraging new capital investment; and creating a business friendly community. In addition, the CDC will work closely with existing businesses in order to maximize their profitability and sustainability.

* Identified viable economic development projects and initiatives

Subcommittee on the Digital Literacy and Inclusion whose purpose shall be to, discuss, research, analyze, and draw conclusions concerning digital literacy and inclusion and to provide regular updates to the Broadband Advisory Board concerning such discussions.

I serve on the Policy and Promising Practices workgroups.
